Reading Workhop for Reception Parents and Children

Parents joined us for a workshop about reading on 2nd October to learn about the many things we do to encourage children to read and the strategies used in school to teach reading. It was great to see so many parents attend and the children loved reading with their parents.

Next week, we have a workshop that will look specifically at the phonics that we teach so that parents can support their child at home with their decoding of words and development of reading skills.
