All Soul's Day
All Souls' Day, which is celebrated on the 2nd November, is a day of prayer and remembrance for the souls of those who have died.
At St. Patrick’s we would like to give the children the opportunity to remember loved ones or pets by making a memory box with their family over half term.
You will need a small box e.g. shoe box. This can be filled with photos, prayers or objects which remind you of the deceased. These memory shrines will need to be returned to school on Tuesday 2nd November so that we can pray for them on the Feast of the Holy Souls.
It is important that we remember and pray for our loved ones in heaven in our Catholic community.
